Short Biography

About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, currently licensed to practice in Georgia, Illinois, Florida, Arizona, and Nevada. I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Jane Addams College of Social Work at the University of Illinois at Chicago, with a concentration in School Social Work. With more than 14 years of experience in social services and mental health, I’ve had the privilege of supporting clients through depression, anxiety, trauma, chronic illness, relationship challenges, and identity concerns.

As the Owner and Clinical Director of ReLabeled Therapy in Illinois and Georgia, I also lead a growing team of clinicians. My vision is not only to provide exceptional care to clients, but also to mentor and empower fellow therapists to deliver culturally aware, identity-affirming, and research-driven mental health services. I see leadership as an extension of my social work values: advocacy, collaboration, and creating pathways for both clients and clinicians to thrive.

What problem do you strive to overcome?

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming. Many clients wonder if it will really help, or they feel pressure to already “have it all together” before reaching out. This can leave them feeling stuck, unsure of where to begin, and hesitant to take that first step.

Through a person-centered and strengths-based approach, I create space where clients feel safe, heard, and supported regardless of where they are starting from. By blending evidence-based practices like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness with deep compassion and cultural awareness, I help clients reconnect with themselves, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build the tools to move forward.

The result is often a greater sense of confidence, relief, and empowerment. Clients begin to realize that they don’t need to be ten steps ahead, they only need to take the next one.

More than just my work

“Within you, there is a stillness and a sanctuary to which you can retreat at any time and be yourself.” ~ Hermann Hesse

Outside of therapy, I find joy in movement and mindfulness. I love to dance, the row machine, and journaling as ways to stay grounded and connected. And when I need a little extra comfort? A good cup of tea and laughter with loved ones always helps me reset.
