  • 24-48 cancellation policy

Anything cancelled within a 24 hour time period is considered a late cancellation and will be assessed a late cancellation/no show fee of $50.

Clients that consistently cancel sessions (3 or more) will be taken off the schedule and will need to speak to their therapist to assess a new meeting date/time.

  • If you need to cancel, for any reason, we ask that you reach out to your therapist by email as an initial step. You may also phone in the cancellation; however, your therapist may not receive the call because they are actively working with other clients.

Email is best if you need to cancel.

  • We understand that emergencies happen and things slip our minds. If you’ve missed a session simply reach out to your therapist to schedule or confirm your next session.

If you are a client receiving therapy, there will be a No Show fee of $50 assessed.

If you are a coaching client, you forfeit that paid booking session.

All of this to state, we are all human and make mistakes. Simply reach out to your therapist and continue moving forward.

  • If you or a loved one is experiencing a Mental Health crisis or a life threatening emergency please contact 911 or go to your nearest Emergency Room.

If you require emotional support and your therapist is not immediately available, DO NOT wait for a response. Please reach out to one of the resources below.

  • During a consultation you have an opportunity to assess if your therapist is a good fit for you. You’ll begin to build rapport and talk about what you hope to work on.

Your therapist will assess readiness and motivation for you to engage therapy and/or coaching. There will also be a brief conversation discussing billing, insurance, and scheduling/availability.

  • During the initial session, background information will be collected and we will build rapport. As always, if you have any questions/clarifications those concerns can be addresses.

Likewise, we will speak about building a therapeutic alliance, expectations, and briefly speak about steps to take in the event of a Mental Health emergency.

Many clients are nervous during the initial session. We always recommend that new clients take advantage of the no cost 15-minute consultation to get a feel for their therapist before the actual session.

Visit the home page or click the tab at the top to book a free 15-minute consultation.

  • A client that is private pay means that the client is paying for individual services out of their own pocket rather than insurance paying for services.

Insurance pay clients receive Mental Health services and their insurance pays some or all fees.

  • At this time, we only accept PPO through various insurers. Visit the Services Tab, click the Insurance dropdown to see if we accept your insurance.

With an HMO, you’ll have a couple of additional steps as it relates to insurance. Clients that are a part of an HMO have the option to pay for services out-of-pocket. At the end of each month we can supply you a Superbill (Statement for Insurance Reimbursement). You will then submit the document directly to your insurer to request reimbursement for out-of-pocket expense.

*Note: Reimbursement is at the discretion of your insurer and not Relabeled Therapy.

  • Very simply defined, therapy addresses Mental Heath, Emotional well-being, and trauma while coaching targets skill building in a specific area of current functioning.

Therapy focuses on symptom relief, improving self-care, developing appropriate coping strategies, boundary setting, and working through trauma.

Coaching is task oriented and techniques may not be evidence based.

Coach is time limited and normally has a start and stop date.

Coaching allows clients to identify one area of functioning to focus on.

Coaching does not address past or current trauma.

  • A sliding scale fee is available on a case-by-case basis for clients seeking therapy.

Please mention this during the 15-minute consultation to determine if sliding scale is an option.

Current clients please speak to your therapist if you have concerns about making a payments. Payment plan options may be available.
